Parenting Autism With Confidence Starts Here

Help Your Child Thrive — Without Feeling Lost, Overwhelmed, or Alone

Supporting You and Your Child on the Spectrum with Practical Guidance for a Calmer, More Connected Home.

Hi, I am Ambereen

I support parents raising children on the autism spectrum by offering practical guidance, emotional support, and real-life strategies that work at home.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have professional experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provided evidence-based support to children on the spectrum and collaborated closely with their families.

This background gives me a strong understanding of both the clinical side of autism support and the everyday challenges parents face outside of therapy. Parenting a neurodivergent child can feel overwhelming and isolating — but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Through personalized coaching, I help parents understand their child’s needs, reduce daily stress, strengthen connection, and create calmer home environments. My approach is compassionate, practical, and judgment-free, focused on empowering you with tools and confidence.

This is not therapy or medical treatment — it’s parent coaching rooted in professional experience, psychology education, and real-world understanding. If you’re looking for reassurance and actionable strategies from someone who truly understands this journey, you’re in the right place.

What Parents Often Feel

  • You just got the diagnosis — and nobody handed you a roadmap.

  • You've Googled everything, asked everyone, and the advice keeps contradicting itself.

  • The meltdowns are exhausting — but the guilt afterward is worse.

  • You love your child fiercely, but some days you feel completely unequipped.

How I will support you

  • Master Daily Routine

Mornings, mealtimes, transitions, bedtime — get practical strategies that actually work in YOUR home.

  • Navigate The System

IEPs, school meetings, community resources — stop feeling lost and start advocating with confidence.

  • Reclaim Your Calm

A judgment-free space where YOU matter too. Because you can't pour from an empty cup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?

No — parent coaching is not therapy. It’s a practical, educational, and emotional support process that helps parents apply evidence‑based strategies at home. Therapy focuses on direct treatment for the child; coaching focuses on empowering you with tools and confidence to create a calmer, more connected environment.

How is coaching different from ABA?

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a clinical therapy delivered directly to the child by trained technicians. Coaching guides parents to understand behavior patterns and apply strategies themselves — without data charts or clinical protocols. It’s collaborative, flexible, and centered on family dynamics rather than formal treatment plans.

Do you work with newly diagnosed families?

Absolutely. Coaching is especially valuable for newly diagnosed families who feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. Sessions help you decode the diagnosis, understand your child’s needs, and build confidence in daily routines and communication.

What ages do you support?

Support typically covers early childhood through pre‑teen years — roughly ages 2 to 12 — when family routines, communication, and emotional regulation are most critical. However, strategies can be adapted for older children depending on family goals.

Do you meet online or in person?

Sessions are conducted online via secure video calls, making them accessible and flexible for busy parents. This format allows real‑time discussion, screen‑sharing of visuals, and follow‑up resources without travel stress. However, I do have an office in North Richlands Hills, Texas. If you are local then in person sessions could be arranged.

What happens in a coaching session?

Each session is a guided, empathetic conversation focused on your child’s daily life. You’ll share challenges, and the coach will help you identify triggers, build routines, and practice calm responses. You leave with clear, personalized strategies and renewed confidence to apply them at home.

Testimonials

“The coaching sessions gave me clarity I never found in therapy or online advice. My daughter and I now communicate better, and I’ve learned how to turn stressful moments into learning opportunities. The counselor’s empathy and practical tools changed how I see parenting — it’s no longer about fixing, it’s about connecting.”

John D Parent of an 8‑year‑old on the spectrum

“Before coaching, every day felt like walking on eggshells. I didn’t know how to help my son without triggering another meltdown. After just a few sessions, I finally understood his sensory needs and learned how to respond calmly. Our home feels peaceful again — and I feel confident instead of helpless.”

Sarah M Mother of a 6‑year‑old recently diagnosed with autism
